While the Steller’s sea eagle (орлан білоплечий) is most famous for its coastal habitats, this regal bird occasionally ventures into savanna-like river valleys and open grasslands near water bodies. With its massive wingspan of up to 2.5 meters and a striking white-shouldered appearance, the Steller’s sea eagle commands attention wherever it flies.

These eagles are unmatched hunters, preying on fish, small mammals, and even other birds.
