This remarkable predator is built for speed, with long legs, a flexible spine, and large nasal passages for oxygen intake. Unlike lions or leopards, cheetahs rely on their vision to spot prey, often targeting small antelopes like gazelles.

Cheetahs are solitary hunters, though mothers will raise their cubs for up to two years, teaching them critical survival skills.
